INKO celebrates its 25th anniversary: a tribute to its legacy and commitment to the future

Last Thursday, November 21, INKO, a kitchen furniture company based in Coín, celebrated its 25th anniversary in the exclusive event hall of the Anantara Villa Padierna Palace hotel, in Benahavís. Founded in 1999 by Juan Carlos and José Manuel Pabón Agua, the company has maintained its family spirit intact, supported by the unconditional support of its loved ones, key in its trajectory. The evening was a tribute to the sacrifice of the founders and their firm commitment to a promising future.

A celebration of values, trajectory and future

Family, clients, suppliers, the sales team and employees of the company attended the gala. Among the attendees were the mayor of Coín, Francisco Santos, and the Councilor for Industry, Miguel Vázquez. All were received by the founders and the second family generation that currently leads the company.

The celebration began with an emotional welcome speech by Fran Santos, who delivered it on behalf of the management. During his speech, he highlighted the fundamental values that have guided the company during its 25 years of history, such as family support and commitment to the community of Coín.

A tribute to the trajectory of INKO

The evening continued with the screening of a video that reviewed the beginnings of INKO in 1999 and its evolution to become a benchmark in the sector. During the event, the founders shared anecdotes from their first steps, generating closeness and connection with the attendees, while recalling the challenges faced in building the company, creating moments of reflection and emotion.

A highlight was the tribute to key figures in the history of INKO, such as José Luis Sánchez Millán, Juan Carlos Bernal Lara and David González, who have been fundamental pillars since the beginning of the company. In recognition of their effort and dedication, they were given commemorative plaques, accompanied by videos that showed images of their trajectory, from its beginnings to the present, highlighting their contribution throughout these 25 years.

The recognition was extended to the entire team, highlighting their commitment, collaboration and work as essential elements to achieve this milestone. Without their support, this achievement would not have been possible, and their role will continue to be key in building the future of the company.

Recognitions and special moments

A highlight was the presentation of a commemorative plaque to the founders of INKO by Juan Luis Salvador and Sebastián Acedo, president and director of the Spanish Association of Kitchen Furniture (AMC). This recognition, granted by the main national association in the sector, underscored the positive impact of INKO in the world of kitchen furniture.

Carlos Mulero, commercial director of INKO, and Juan Valera, commercial delegate of Catalonia, surprised the founders with a special gift on behalf of the entire commercial team. This gesture symbolized the deep gratitude and unity of the team at this key moment for the company.

The second generation takes over

A particularly emotional moment was the speech by Jessica Pabón González, Juan Carlos Pabón Bernal and José Manuel Pabón Bernal, who currently run the company, representing the second generation of the family. In their speech, they shared their vision of the future, focused on sustainability, innovation and commitment to excellence. They thanked all attendees for their presence and support, while recalling anecdotes that moved those present.

The ceremony continued with a gesture of recognition: the five members of the family present gave bouquets of flowers to the founding mothers and commemorative plaques to the founders, thanking them for their essential role in the history of the company.

A focus towards the future

Before their intervention, the company’s new corporate video was presented, which reflects its vision towards the future. This advance not only highlights the modernization of its communication, but also the growth and firm commitment of INKO. With more than 12,000 m² of facilities, a team of 140 professionals and a solid commitment to the environment —including the use of 100% recyclable materials and 25% photovoltaic energy—, the company reaffirms its mission to transform lives through unique kitchens, under the motto: “Creating spaces, transforming lives.

A memorable closing

The night culminated with an emotional video starring the grandchildren of the founders of INKO, who, with their spontaneity and sympathy, offered congratulations to the honorees. The images, full of tenderness, not only brought smiles to those present, but also deeply moved the founders, who saw themselves reflected in the gestures of their grandchildren.

After the video, the final toast was celebrated among all the attendees, a gesture that symbolized the union and the family spirit that characterize INKO.

Past, present and future
