A project where design and functionality are combined
This project, designed and executed by Ignacio Agudo, INKO’s distributor in Bilbao, shows a kitchen where elegance, functionality and tailor-made solutions combine to create a balanced and practical space for everyday use.
Space-optimizing L-shaped layout
The kitchen is organized by means of an L-shaped layout that makes the most of the floor plan. The main front incorporates columns without plinth, a solution that provides visual continuity and contributes to expand the perception of space.
The water area is framed between columns, while the tall units in bridge format maximize storage capacity without overloading the design.
A central island that articulates the kitchen
The central island becomes the protagonist of the space. It integrates the cooktop, accompanied by a hood integrated in the ceiling, which allows maintaining a clean and uncluttered visual reading.
At the back of the island, a stool area has been incorporated, designed to create an informal area that encourages conviviality and extends the functionality of the kitchen.
A custom-made breakfast bar for versatility
The project incorporates a custom-designed breakfast cabinet, organized in three sections. The lower part houses the main storage, while folding doors allow small appliances to be concealed when not in use.
The upper part includes decorative recesses that provide visual lightness and allow the space to be personalized, combining functionality and design.
Finishes that combine modernity and warmth
The furniture combines different finishes to create contrast and visual depth. The main fronts are made in VELVET model with PETRA finish, while the back of the island, the lower wall units of the bridge and the interior of the breakfast bar incorporate the BISTRO PROVENZA finish, which introduces warmth to the whole.
The folding doors of the breakfast bar, in SENA Verde Seda finish, add a distinctive touch and a subtle chromatic contrast that enriches the design.
